Top 8 must-have Javascript libraries

Always I am developing web pages, I use a group of libraries that save me a lot of time.
This is my top 8 of them:

  • 1. jQuery:

    Fast and concise JavaScript Library that simplifies HTML document traversing, event handling, animating, and Ajax interactions for rapid web development. Link

  • 2. jQuery UI:

    jQuery UI is a curated set of user interface interactions, effects, widgets, and themes built on top of the jQuery JavaScript Library. Great for highly interactive web applicacionts. Link

  • 3. jQuery easing:

    Very useful when animating transitions for any jQuery selector. Currently you can bypass it by CSS3 transitions, but considering that browsers like Internet Explorer does not support CSS3, easing is very good choice. Link

  • 4. Modernizr:

    It’s a JavaScript library that detects HTML5 and CSS3 features in the user’s browser. Link

  • 5. Explorer Canvas:

    This library allows to use canvas with Internet Explorer. Link

  • 6. Google Maps API:

    50% of any company’s page has a map incorporated announcing its location. GM defines and customizes these maps, beyond what can be seen on maps.google.com. Link

  • 7. Handlebars:

  • 8. Tipped:

    It allows you to easily create beautiful tooltips using the jQuery Javascript library. It’s a very good tool to use to replace the format of alts and titles of images with something more modern and customized. Link
